How to use Creative Seed texture plates?

Texture mats can be used in different ways, for different techniques and renderings.

Relief on polymer clay: to perform the relief technique, you must apply the polymer clay of your choice (Fimo, Cernit, Sculpey) using a spatula, pressing well so that the material fills all the hollows of your carpet. Then, you will remove the excess using a cutter, shaving off the paste well. You can then apply a second plate of polymer clay on top by applying light pressure. Turn everything over and pass the rolling pin over it so that the dough adheres well. You can then carefully remove everything.
Imprint: to make an imprint, you can apply ink or acrylic paint to the relief of your rug with a using a small roller. Once your color has been applied, gently place your mat on a plate of polymer clay. Then pass the roller, exerting pressure, in order to make a homogeneous imprint, then gently remove the mat. You can also make the prints on paper or other materials.
Mica powder: to achieve a metallic effect on your polymer clay, you can use mica powder (sparkling from Cernit or Pearl Ex ). Apply powder to your texture mat with a brush. Then remove the excess powder on the relief of your plate and place it on your previously flattened polymer clay. Pass the roller over it to make the glitter adhere well to the dough.
