Shipping and packaging instructions for items before fixing and piping:

The items must be dry before folding.
Check that your gutta is very dry (gutta essence) : tap with a finger and, if it sticks, you have to wait before sending us your book
Do not fold the items until the last minute , before sending them to us (otherwise, there is a risk of final wrinkles during steaming). Do not iron them before sending! In the meantime, you can leave them on a roll or flat on a bed, a table,…
Articles should be individually wrapped with a sheet of separating paper above and below to avoid color transfer to other parts of the book.
Put each item, if possible in a plastic bag, and above all do not put together light and dark items.
Send the items in a padded envelope so as not to damage the fabrics
Be sure to indicate your contact details and the work to be done so that there is no confusion.
For salt drying: remove as much salt as possible before sending us your works
For wax stoves: remove as much wax as possible before sending us your works (scrape it off then iron between 2 absorbent papers or newspaper)
