What is Darwi Terracotta paste?

Darwi modeling clay is a very homogeneous, self-hardening clay. It dries in the open air. The objects made are solid and resistant after drying.

Darwi Terracotta clay is a self-hardening earth-colored modeling clay. The fineness of its grain allows delicate creations such as taking fine impressions.
Flexible and semi-elastic, Terracotta is easy to work with, without gloves.
The Darwi Terracotta range is available in blocks of 500g and 1kg.

Drying time: minimum 24 h/cm.
No shrinkage during drying.
No cooking.

How to use Darwi paste?

It is important to knead the dough well in order to soften it before use.
You can work your dough with tools such as modeling tools, the roller, cookie cutters, texture plates,...
Let your creation air dry. Depending on the size of your room, the soil will dry more or less quickly. It will dry at the rate of 1 cm per 24 hours.
Once dry, the paste is hard and solid.
After complete drying, do not hesitate to give a touch of color and shine to your creations with acrylic paint and Darwi varnish.
