Album Canson® Montval fine grain
A great classic from the Canson range, this paper designed by the painter Gaspard Maillol at the beginning of the 20th century is an ideal paper for students in Plastic Arts.
Montval paper withtorchon grain is ahigh-end paper. Its strong capacity for "repentance" makes it a popular paper for beginners. The cloth grain is reminiscent of the cottony appearance of clouds. This bumpy surface brings movement to landscapes, skies or seascapes.
More difficult to work with than fine grain, cloth grain is intended for experienced people. It requires a little mastery. Nevertheless, once tamed, it is a fabulous paper that will give relief and effects to your watercolor paintings!
Although it is designed for watercolour, it is suitable for all wet techniques: gouache, wash and acrylic.
The spiral album is a rigid , nomadic support, ideal for outdoor work. The spiral makes it possible to completely turn the sheets on the back of the block. Equipped with microperforations, the sheets are easily detached.
