What are the differences between the grains of the paper?
There are 3 different grains: fine grain, satin grain and cloth grain.
Fine grain: This is the best-selling and most used grain because it is neither too smooth nor too marked, so it is the easiest to use.
The satin grain: Hot pressed, this grain is smooth and is particularly appreciated for making portraits but also works detailed and accurate.
The cloth grain: The cloth grain requires a little more skill because it is more complicated to work with. Its texture is highly appreciated for the realization of landscapes and the creation of reliefs and effects.
